Facelift Before & After Case 20

This beautiful lady was referred to WNY Plastic Surgery by a hairdresser from a local beauty salon. She was unhappy with some loose skin in the neck area.

Dr. Giacobbe noted that she had a slim neck and a well-defined jawline, but she had mild jowls and platysma bands. She also had loose skin of the anterior neck.

The patient decided to go forward with a facelift procedure.

Dr. Giacobbe surgically tightened the skin of the face and neck. Platysmal bands were incised and plicated anteriorly and posteriorly. He then performed conservative liposuction of the chin and cheek areas. Jackson-Pratt drains were put in place to prevent fluid collection.

The patient was able to return to work two weeks after surgery.

She is very pleased with her results.
