Eyelid Surgery Before & After Case 23

This patient in her mid-forties felt like she had to hold her eyelids open in order to see properly because they felt so heavy. She came to WNY Plastic Surgery for a consultation.

Dr. Giacobbe examined the patient and reviewed her visual field testing results which did confirm the patient's concerns.

He recommended the patient undergo a bilateral upper blepharoplasty to remove the excess skin of the upper eyelids, excess orbital fat and "eyelid bags".

The patient was able to return to work in one week and was very pleased with the results.

The "after" photos were taken approximately six weeks after surgery.
