Breast Lift Before & After Case 22

This patient worked hard to lose 30 lbs, but found that after her significant weight loss, her breasts were sagging and she was unhappy with their appearance. A friend recommended she visit Dr. Giacobbe at WNY Plastic Surgery for a consultation.

Dr. Giacobbe examined the patient and found that her breasts which were approximately a full "C" cup were severely sagging (Grade III).

During the consultation, Dr. Giacobbe recommended the patient undergo a breast lift (mastopexy) surgery to remove the excess skin and also to move the nipples to a more normal position.

He performed the surgery - a Wise Pattern Mastopexy - using an "anchor" type incision pattern. He placed two Jackson-Pratt drains to help prevent fluid collection.

The patient returned to work as an assistant manager in less than one week and was very pleased with the results.

Photos were taken 5 weeks after surgery.
