Breast Implant Replacement Before & After Case 43
Before & After
Case Details
This patient is a 36-year-old female who previously underwent a bilateral breast augmentation and left breast lift approximately 10 years ago by another surgeon. She complained of her breasts being too low and her left areola appearing too large and too low. The patient had existing saline implants approximately 300 mL in size.
A diagnosis of left breast ptosis and bilateral lower pole skin stretch and implant malposition was made and a recommendation was made to the patient to undergo a bilateral breast implant exchange and left circumareolar mastopexy.
During the procedure, both saline implants were removed and sutures were put in place to correct the bottomed out appearance. Silicone gel implants 340 mL in size were selected for both breasts. A circumareolar mastopexy was then performed to reduce the size of the left areola.
