Breast Augmentation & Mini Lift Before & After Case 21

This 50 year old patient was referred to Dr. Giacobbe by a retired plastic surgeon. She came in for a consultation seeking cosmetic enhancement of her breasts.

During her consultation, Dr. Giacobbe and his staff discussed the procedure and performed an exam. The patient had an average frame and her breasts were approximately a "B" cup size and she had some mild sagging.

In order to reach the patient's goals, a combination of breast implants along with a circumareolar mastopexy (breast lift) was recommended. 

The patient chose Allergan brand round, high profile implants.

During the surgery, Dr. Giacobbe placed the implants above the muscle through an inframammary fold incision. The breasts were lifted by removing skin from around the areolas.

The patient tolerated the surgery well and was back at work in one week.

Photos were taken 8 weeks after surgery.
